John Albert, MD, is an integral member of the team at Rheumatic Disease Center in Milwaukee and Glendale, Wisconsin. He finds rheumatology to be a fascinating area of medical practice, and chose to shape his professional life around helping people with rheumatic conditions live active, healthy lives. 

A lifelong learner, Dr. Albert earned his medical degree from Stanley Medical College in Chennai, India. He completed his internship and residency at New York Downtown Hospital, now named New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. A fellowship through the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee rounded out his training. 

Personalized care is a guiding principle in Dr. Albert’s professional life. He enjoys working one-on-one with patients to learn their unique strengths and challenges, shaping treatment plans that align closely with those needs. 

With professional experience as a primary care physician, assistant professor of medicine and co-medical director, Dr. Albert’s skill set is unmatched and refined. He brings nearly three decades of experience to his role at Rheumatic Disease Center.
